A well designed book interior that reflects the mood of the content is critical to any successful literary venture. From simple text books to complex photographic layouts and everything in between, it’s important to bring books story and message to your audience.

Everything in editorial design is meticulously planted to evoke the emotions associated with the publication’s character. Every letter, every paragraph, every photograph, every single inch of white space on the page is cultivated to project the issue’s tone, agenda, and brand. The issue’s cover is one of the, if not the, most important piece of the magazine. This is your reader’s first engagement with the magazine.
A good layout can be beautiful, memorable and stylish. But it also needs to make the reading experience effortless and enjoyable. A great layout brings the content to the next level and helps to create a product that is meant to last. That’s why i want to design books and brochures that you want to leave on your coffee table.

MJU is a fashion and silk accessories brand i created with Anneli Akinde. We both have studied graphic art, both love fashion, art, chocolate and summer. We are inspired by everything beautiful, sweet and fun. This feeling shines through the prints, which are a joy to wear!
